New season is here!

I arrived late, so I quickly warmed up and jumped into the game. We did not play well in the first half and conceded two goals, putting us down 0:2. Fortunately, Max scored from a penalty. He asked if I wanted to take it, but I was not feeling great about our performance, so I told him to go ahead.

The second half was better, but still far from our best. I had plenty of chances. At first, it did not seem like that, but after counting them post-game, I realized I had at least four. My shots were strong but all went straight at the goalkeeper. However, I made two excellent passes: one in the first half, playing Max through behind the defense, and another sharp cross to Mike. Both were 120% chances!

Fortunately, it was Max’s day, and he tied the game. I won a ball battle in the midfield, passed to Vince, who laid it off to Max, and he fired a beautiful goal from 20 meters out.
