Back at the Drew’s Place

My knee was mostly recovered after my first football game two weeks ago, so I decided it was time for another run.

I started with the white team, but we were too strong. Drew then asked Charlie who they wanted on their green team, and Nico specifically requested me. From the next game, I played with them, and we tied 1:1 after Charlie gave me a good back pass. We tied the next game as well, which put us off the field.

In another game, we tied 1:1 again after I scored when they misplayed a pass from their goalie to the defender. For three games in a row we did not lose, but eventually we did. I also scored a third goal in one of the later games. Not bad, considering Simca was watching.

It was extremely hot, but in the end, we played a final game to three goals, which we lost 3:1. I drank about two-thirds of a gallon of water during the game and much more afterward.
