Another football at Drew's Place

After two weeks (since 2025-12-04), back at Drew's place. Grass still looked very good, and of course, only turfs were allowed. The ground was a bit wet, so it was slippery. Those who played with flats were sliding even more.

My first game without a knee brace. It was better, but still far from perfect. I would say 70-80%

I played in the black team, which included Mike, Eddie, Brendon, and Senko from Croatia. The first game was 0:0 for a long time, but then I scored two goals, so we won. We lost the second game, but then we had a streak of 4 or 5 winning games. Two of those we won 2:0, with both of my goals. Most of them were shots from a longer distance, but one was a sharp-angle shot with my left foot. Mike and Senko were giving me great passes!

After another loss, we went back on the field, but this time we played on the opposite side. Again, we had a small streak of wins, which ended with the game against the white team, which was tied 0:0. On this side, I scored two goals, bringing my night's total to an impressive 8 goals, evenly split between left and right foot. Not bad considering my knee is far from good. But I will see tomorrow what the real status is.

At the end, Eddie was happy. He is not used to winning this much:)
