Pickup football at Drew's Place

Last time I played football was on 2025-12-21, so it was almost exactly one month. My knees are not perfect, and I have new problems with my groin and Achilles. But I need to start, because otherwise my form will go down.

I was also testing my HRM-600 with football. My feelings about it are quite mixed.

I came on time and started the game with the white team. It went well, but as usual, we could not score for a while. Then I scored our first goal (and my first with HRM-600!) Meanwhile, the green team formed, so Drew pulled me out of the field with the argument "you will play for green, they specifically asked for you":) So I was on the team with Scott, Paul, and others.

I scored our first two goals. The first goal meant a 1:0 victory, so we stayed on the pitch. In the second game, we were winning 1:0 but eventually lost 1:2. This pattern of wins and losses persisted throughout the evening. We came from the bench, usually won the first game, then lost the second one.

Later in the game, I became fatigued, so I ran less. But I had chances, just hit the post twice (off the empty net, lol). In the very last match, I scored the winning goal. So, despite lower performance, I could be happy with my scoring ability.
