Borachos – Other Team 0:2 (0:1)

I met these guys during my Sunday walks to church and back, back when I did not have a car. They invited me to join them. Last weekend I was on a road trip, but this weekend I came to help.

They played on a different field, the same one where I played for the very first time on 2025-07-23.

I started as a forward in a 4-4-2 formation. However, I soon realized we did not have any central midfield presence. The space was wide open, so I dropped back to ask for the ball. This worked well, but the team was not happy and kept pushing me further up.

I had one good finish with my left foot, but the goalkeeper deflected it to the corner. That was our only shot on goal. Overall, we played well but conceded a rather lame goal.

At halftime, the manager made changes. I did not understand them since they spoke only Spanish. He left me on the bench for the second half, which was fine because my left knee had started to swell a bit. We had more scoring chances, but still conceded another goal and lost the game 0:2.
