This was our first game in the new white jerseys. I like those so much!

Raka and Dave gave me a small shot of their Serbian Slivovica before the game. It was brown, not transparent as I am used to.

We started well. A long cross came from the right side, I made a good first touch and scored near the near post. Then the referee gave them a penalty for nothing, which Luis saved! But shortly after, we made a stupid back pass, which the guy caught and equalized. Then they scored another goal, and at the time we were not playing very well. However, shortly before half, there was a handball in their box. After a long talk with the linesman, the referee awarded a penalty, which I turned into a goal. I do not think that was supposed to be a penalty, but never mind. 2:2 halftime

Early in the second half we had another penalty, and I scored my third goal. Then Max made a good run from the right side and crossed it. Their defender deflected his cross into the net. We were winning 4:2, played well and all looked good. They got another penalty, which Luis saved again! Momentum was on our side. All we needed was possession and short passes. We were passing well, but someone still thought it was his chance to make the greatest long ball of his life (despite us telling him "no long balls" several times). That way, we lost possession, and our tired defense could not keep up with their hungry forwards. The goal to 4:3 was a wake-up call. Since we still had not stopped those stupid long balls, we conceded another goal in the last minute, making it 4:4.

I was very upset after the game. This draw feels like a loss.
