Wednesday evening pickup game (7:7)

It was raining a bit today, so I decided to wear cleats. This was my first time since the right knee injury in November. So far, I have been wearing only turfs.

After the game, both knees hurt quite a bit due to a lack of adaptation.

I played for the black team with Michael, Zach, and others, but this time we had the opposite goal. Our start was very poor because we conceded in the first minute. We continued doing stupid things in defense, so there was another goal, then another, and we were losing 4:0. It did not look good.

Then someone passed to me, but the ball slipped under my feet and went to my teammate, who scored into the empty net. I accidentally got an assist, but since we conceded so quickly again, we were down by four goals.

Then I scored with my left foot. Strong shot, deflected twice, and fell into the net. The guys made fun of me, but I said with a serious face that I wanted to shoot it exactly like that. My second goal was when I nipped in and shot from long distance into the empty net. I made up for last week (2026-02-11) when I missed the empty net from a similar distance.

We scored more goals, for example, Michael got two. But we also conceded a few. The score was 6:7 when I received the ball on the right side and, with a strong shot, nailed it at 7:7. This was the last touch of the game, and we called it a day afterwards.
